Maybe it’s because the wine’s produced by an established, premium winery (Vavasour) and owned by a loaded Yank Billionaire (Bill Foley) who probably has more money than he knows what to do with, we’re not sure but we do know this Dashwood label has well and truly backed up its reputation for being one of the best value labels in NZ!

Supposedly a secondary label, you do have to wonder whether someone got the tanks mixed up at Vavasour!

This latest 2023 was selected as a ‘Buy of the Week’ in December 2023 by Master of Wine Bob Campbell. Bob said “Moderately deep-hued rosé in an off-dry style with crushed raspberry and candy floss flavours. Quite intense with a refreshing cut of bright acidity and a lingering finish. A real crowd-pleaser.”
