Margrain Riesling

If you love Riesling this is probably the deal you’ve been waiting all year for! And if you don’t love Riesling (or you don’t have the foggiest what it’s about) – you’re missing out big time!

We swear everyone would drink more Riesling if they knew what they were in for. From bone dry to super sweet and everything in between, there’s a Riesling for every taste. It cellars well and it’s bloody awesome with the right food pairing.

So when a top quality, boutique, family owned Martinborough vineyard knocks on our door with a hell deal on their 94/100 rated 2020 Riesling – we got into it big time.

Scoring a seriously respectable 94/100 with Master of Wine Bob Campbell, who said “Dry-ish riesling, with just a whisker of sweetness evident on first impression leading to a pleasantly dry finish. Quite a floral wine with lemon blossom, lime zest and wet-stone-mineral characters. A concentrated wine with appealing purity.”

You’d be paying $28 at cellar door for this one so in exchange for taking a bit of volume we’ve been able to sharpen the pencil (and then some) on price down to $15.99!

Bob reckons this will cellar up to 2029 so grab a six pack (or two, don’t hold back) and drink some now and tuck some away!
