Who said you have to push the boat out for a good bottle of Sauv? It’s in the Boatshed baby!
The Boatshed Bay label was started in 1996 with the original vineyards on Waiheke Island and named after the namesake cove nearby. These days it’s part of the Foley wine group – owned by American billionaire Uncle Bill Foley and part of the group that’s behind iconic NZ names like Mt.Difficulty, Roaring Meg, Vavasour, Martinborough Vineyards, Te Kairanga and more.
Using fruit from some of their Wairau and Awatere vineyards in Marlborough this is a classic style full of tropical fruit and citrus flavours with a crisp, refreshing finish.
A Gold medal winner at the NZ International Wine Show for a SauvyB at the price is quite the find! Hook in. Serve nicely chilled with white meats like fish, seafood or a cheese platter.
