Fast cars, cheese, ham and some good old Italian Spag’Bol – it’s what Emilia-Romagna in northern Italy is famous for! It’s also the home of Medici’s slightly spritzy, sweet style sparkling Lambrusco.
And as Metro Magazine put it – “Medici Ermete is one of the best producers of Lambrusco and this, their entry-level wine, is outstanding value for money.”
Not as expensive as a Ferrari, Lamborghini or Maserati. Not as funky as a wedge of Parmesan. Not as sloppy as a big bowl of Mama’s spag’bol. But this cheeky little Italian is all about easy summer drinking! Or easy drinking any time of the year to be honest.
Just make sure it’s been nicely chilled in the fridge before serving. At just 8.5% in alcohol you can safely crack one open at lunchtime and pair salty or sweet foods. Or if a takeaway pizza is on the cards blow the top off a Medici Lambrusco and let the good, juicy fun times flow!
