There ain’t many Australian families that can say they’ve been making wine for over 125 years. Brown Brothers are one of them.

Started by John Francis Brown in 1889 and these days lead by Ross Brown and his family. In fact they’re part of Australia’s “First Families of Wine”, the 12 founding family owned wineries across the ditch that include the likes of De Bortoli, Jim Barry and Taylors.

Everton is a blend of pretty much equal portions of rich Shiraz, juicy Cabernet and Malbec for some darker berry fruit flavours. A medium bodied, fruit driven style red with plenty of flavour. The Browns’ reckon you ought to be pairing this one with some spicy snags off the barbie. Or how about roast lamb with rosemary and garlic potatoes? Now we’re talkin!
