Left Field Pinot Gris

Produced by the Te Awa crew (and part of the Villa Maria wine group) and while it’s obvious they’re making bloody good value wine we did wonder on earth they’re smoking down there when they came up with the label.

Featuring a “Squidcrab” which apparently “The racy little Squidcrab cries at the drop of a hat. Her sweet and gentle side combined with warm comforting spice draws you in and before you know it, you’re ‘fessing up to all your sins.” Riiiight.

A classic Marlborough Pinot Gris offering plenty of bang for buck here. Lush pear, apple and citrus fruit flavours with a touch of spice. Devour with pork or spicy grilled chicken.
