A medium bodied, dry red full of sweet, dark berry fruits and soft, supple tannins
You might know Coopers Creek as the winery based out in Auckland’s western suburb of Kumeu. They actually source their fruit from vineyards dotted all around Aotearoa like Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Central Otago and Marlborough.
And if it’s Pinot you drink and bang for buck you love Marlborough is often the go to region for Kiwi Pinot. Using fruit from some of the top vineyards in the Rapaura sub region of Marlborough, the guys at Coopers Creek HQ in Kumeu were pretty excited when the fruit was trucked up north to their winery.
