Ant Moore A+ Pinot Gris

Ant Moore is an Aussie winemaker who moved across the ditch over 20 years ago and in his own words “It’s been quite a journey!”

Ant goes on to say “I planted all my own vineyards when I first started in ’04…basically pioneered a couple of areas, going into a couple of extreme areas where people thought you’d never grow grapes.”

Doing things a bit differently and doing your own thing is what Ant Moore is all about. These days he makes wine for his own labels and for others – but the wines that have his name slapped on the front are the best of what they do and the styles of wines he likes to drink.

Like his Ant Moore A+ Pinot Gris from the 2024 vintage. It’s a clean, crisp, dry style Marlborough Pinot Gris that picked up 5 Stars in Cuisine magazine’s 2025 Pinot Gris tasting. The judges there called it “fresh and energetic with a silky texture and excellent balance. A refined example with a rewardingly long finish.”
