Yalumba Y Series Tempranillo. The question isn’t Y? It’s Y-wouldn’t ya?! This is pure fruit-forward, medium bodied, juicy, silky smooth Tempranillo (pronounced temp-rah-knee-oh) at its very best!
One hundred and sixty years and five generations of family wine making – you don’t get to call yourself Australia’s oldest family owned winery unless you’re doing something seriously right. For their Yalumba Y Series Tempranillo they’ve used grapes from across the South Australia region to craft this one. This may be known as Spain’s number one grape – but here’s how the Aussies can do it just as well at a price to boot!
We’ve been banging on about what incredible bang for buck this red is so it was little surprise to see it appear in the list of “Top Value Wines of Australia” under $25 with The Real Review.
