From a great 2020 Hawke’s Bay vintage, aged 12 months in oak before release, this is a super smooth, supple, silky style red that is seriously drinkable. Over the years this has proven to be one of NZ’s best value Merlots we reckon with a dizzy long list of awards even in just the past couple of vintages.

Don’t go looking for Villa Maria Cellar Selection Merlot in supermarkets, you won’t find it. The guys at Villa Maria have decided to keep this seriously good wine exclusively for wine shops and online wine stores.
