When super talented winemaker Dave Clouston isn’t busting a gut crafted incredibly awesome wine (you might also know him from his Two Rivers of Marlborough wine labels) you might find him hanging out at his favourite pad – The Black Cottage! It’s where Dave kicks back and relaxes with friends and whanau. No doubt over a glass or two of Black Cottage Pinot Gris.

A classic off-dry style of Marlborough Pinot Gris – we’re talking about a thirst quenching, crisp and dry style that has just a touch of sweetness.

While you’ll enjoy busting Black Cottage Rose out of the fridge on pretty much any occasion (do you really need an excuse?) this is the style of Pinot Gris that’s really versatile with food – but our picks would be with Asian cuisine like Indian, Thai or Chinese or white meats like chicken and fish.
