If you think these swanky French Champagne houses have had it easy, think again. Laurent Perrier (or “LP” if you want to sound in the know) have had a turbulent ride since they started in 1812.

Battling (literally) through Two World Wars and almost going broke because of it, while one of the owner’s sons, Bernard de Nonancourt, was part of the armored division that stormed Hitler’s wine cave and discovered a half a million bottles of hidden wine!

These days LP are one of the world’s leading Champagne names (fourth biggest globally by number of bottles sold) and this is their signature Rosé Champagne. Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes there’d be few arguments that this sits as one of the world’s great non vintage Rosé Champagnes.
