Arts de Luna Cava Organic Brut Rose

Cava from Spain and Prosecco from Italy. Two sparkling styles that have taken the world by storm, simply for the fact that you can grab a decent bottle of the stuff at half the price of an entry level wine that has the word Champagne slapped on the label!

Cava is made in the same way as Champagne, called Methode Traditionelle which means it’s fermented a second time in the bottle to achieve bubbles. It’s a lot closer in terms of taste to Champagne than Prosecco. Like most of the wine coming out of this Spain these days it also offers great value for money.

Arts de Luna Cava Organic Brut Rose is made by Bodegas Murviedro and imported into NZ by Master of Wine Steve Bennett, who loves nothing more than travelling the globe in search of the best wine bargains from around the wine world.

Scoring 5 Stars and 93/100 by local critic Sam Kim, Sam called loved the “Fabulous strawberries and cream on the nose with hints of citrus peel and Granny Smith apple. The palate delivers bright fruit intensity and vibrant acidity, making it immediately appealing and highly enjoyable.”
