Made by Bleasdale who were the first winery established in the Langhorne Creek sub region way back in the 50’s….1850’s that is!
Named after the Bremer View river that runs through the estate – this is a classic style of Shiraz from this part of the wine world. We’re talking medium bodied in style with a heap of juicy, dark berry fruit flavours with clovers and spice.
This is the highly sought 2021 vintage that scored a highly impressive 95/100 with Australia’s most important wine critic – James Halliday. He said “Frank Potts created a system of locks and weirs to provide flood irrigation from inception in 1850, and Bleasdale’s Bremerview vineyard still uses that system. Destemmed, open fermented, matured for 12 months in French puncheons (10% new). The wine is ridiculously good value at this price, with the warming gentle palate of Langhorne Creek: plum, dark berry fruit and just enough soft tannin.”
Drink now to 2029 and pair with all of our favourite BBQ meats – steaks, ribs, lamb or a spicy snarler wouldn’t go amiss!
