Brancott Estate’s new TERROR series – so good it’ll scare the pants off ya!
Actually no, it’s TERROIR and it’s the French term that many wine snobs around the world use to describe how a particular region’s climate, soil, terrain and winemaking techniques can affect the taste of a wine.
Brancott’s experienced crew of winemakers have crafted a range of wines from specific sub-regions in some of New Zealand’s major wine growing regions to showcase terroir, like this Pinot Gris from the Awatere Valley.
Winner of a pretty cool 5 Stars & Best Buy in Cuisine’s 2016 Pinot Gris tasting, the judges said "It’s an exuberant, complete expression, dry in style and bursting with those flavours you expect from the variety."
Just the style for white meat and fish dishes, especially Asian cuisine like Thai or Indian.
