It’s a buttercream cake in pure liquid form! Made by Cream Family Wines from California and as the name suggests they’re all about creamy, buttery things! Their wines are inspired by the gorgeous aromas that used to waft from their Grandma’s kitchen during family catch ups. Pies, cookies, cakes, you name it! And a shout out to Grandpa too who was busy tending to the Turkey or Ham for Christmas and Thanks Giving!
Using grapes from certified sustainable vineyards in Monterey County that underwent a secondary malolactic fermentation (the fancy winemaking process that gives whites that creamy, buttery taste) and aged in oak barrels for added complexity.
Winemaker Alison says “When making our flagship wine, we set out to create the perfect wine pairing to Grandma’s famous recipe. We knew it needed to be buttery and creamy, with a zing of freshness, a tinge of sweetness, and a hint of vanilla. We like to think Grandma would be proud.”
Pair Buttercream Chardonnay with white meats and seafood in rich, creamy sauces. Or how about a cheese board with a creamy brie? Yum!
