He’s easy on the eye, he talks the talk and walks the walk, he’s the life of the party and the ladies love him. He’s a Casanova and he’s a real player in the Champagne scene – especially if you’re looking for seriously good bang for your Champagne buck.
Charles de Cazanove was a 17th century dude from a family of glass makers who started this Champagne house after visiting Venice (and changing Casanova to the more French Cazanove). Not quite as glamorous as the the love-making, heart-breaking Casanova from Venice – although it’s sure to win the hearts of plenty of Champagne lovers.
This label might not have the sex appeal of some of the big name Champagne brands, but it comes at about half the price and has won plenty of hearts that’s for sure. Imported into NZ by a Master of Wine (Steve Bennett), it’s already got the master seal of approval but if you need any more convincing check out this impressive list of awards…
