It’s like succulent cherry pies and fruit tarts in pure liquid form! Made by Cream Family Wines from California and as the name suggests they’re all about creamy, buttery things! Their wines are inspired by the gorgeous aromas that used to waft from their Grandma’s kitchen during family catch ups. Pies, cookies, tarts and cakes, you name it! And a shout out to Grandpa too who was busy tending to the Turkey or Ham for Christmas and Thanks Giving!
Using grapes from certified sustainable vineyards in Monterey County, aged in a mix of French and American oak to help create those dark black cherry, raspberry, anise and vanilla flavours.
Winemaker Alison says “It has fruit, it has body, it’s a beautiful swirl in the glass, and dazzles the senses with its scrumptious bouquet. Made with all full-bodied wine lovers preferences in mind, this wine is primarily made from Cabernet Sauvignon with just a little bit of of Merlot.”
As for the food match Alison reckons this is just the wine for a juicy peppercorn crusted steak. Or try with vanilla ice cream with warm fudge sauce topped with raspberries.
