Clearview Estate Coastal Chardonnay

Oh we do love to be beside the seaside! Especially if you’re Tim Turvey and Clearview Estate.

Tim’s the chief at Clearview and, as the label suggests, they’re located right there on the beautiful Hawke’s Bay coastline. The Te Awanga coastline to be precise, which is what you might remember this label being called in previous years (Clearview Te Awanga Chardonnay).

Clearview spell it out nice and simple – “Our fruity chardonnay, balanced with a generous touch of oak is hugely popular and an ideal anytime wine.” Think of it as a lite version of their big, rich, iconic Beachhead label.

Tim and Clearview are simply bonkers about this variety so rest assure you’ll never find any substandard Chardonnay being released with their name stamped on it. Bust it out with fish, chicken or veal dishes.

Or how about this – hire a bike in Hawke’s Bay and have a peddle along the Te Awanga coastline. Pop into Clearview and have a glass or two with some garlic clams and spaghetti! Delish!
