World famous for their Sauvignon Blanc (pretty much the wine that put NZ on the world wine map) but this world class producer is more than just a one trick pony.
Every now and again they release a limited series of aromatic whites, like this Gewurztraminer from the 2009 vintage. It’s certainly got the touch of class you come to expect from these guys.
A rich, luscious, powerful white with a touch of spice (after all, Gewurz does mean ‘spice’ in German). Produced from hand harvested grapes from their Mustang Vineyard in Marlborough’s Brancott Valley. Perfect with spicy, exotic Asian inspired dishes – if you’re into prawns why not try this alongside a dish of Thai King Prawns with basil and chilli – yum!
