Cava is to Spanish sparkling wine what Champagne is to France. Although technically they can’t call it Champagne it’s made in the same way, in NZ we call it Methode Traditionelle.

Codorniu (pronounced cod-or-new) are the world’s largest producer of bottle fermented sparkling wine (Methode Traditionelle) and are Spain’s oldest and most successful Cava producers. Along with Prosecco, Cava is up there with the hottest wine styles being guzzled around the globe right now.
