Tasmanian Pinot. It’s hot stuff, because it’s cool, because it’s getting hot. Got it?
Yep Tazzy Pinot is making quite the noise for a little island that only produces 1% of all Australian wine. Global warming forecasts mean that many of ‘straya’s wine regions will struggle to produce decent Pinot in the future. That’s why there’s been a scramble by many producers to secure vineyard sites in Tasmania, a cool climate wine region and well suited for growing bloody good Pinot.
Situated on the Tasmanian east coast is the Devil’s Corner winery. Being exposed to the wild elements of the Tasman Sea helps their vineyards produce this wicked Devil’s Corner Pinot – a fruit driven style of bright red fruits with a touch of spice.
No Tasmanian Devils were harmed in the making of this wine.
