From a primo 2014 vintage and produced from an individual barrel selection from three different Hawke’s Bay vineyards, it was hand harvested and whole cluster pressed, aged for 11 months in French oak with occasional lees stirring. The end result? Well, when your wine picks up Champion Wine of Show at a major wine comp you know you’re on to a winner…then do it for a second time, that’s just nuts!
