The Clayvin Vineyard in Marlborough was established in 1993 and quite frankly can boast producing some of the best Pinot Noir (and Chardonnay) in Aotearoa.

Giesen’s Single Vineyard Pinot Noir from the Clayvin vineyard sits among NZ’s elite Pinot names – typically selling in $60-65 price bracket.

They don’t cut any corners when it comes to this Pinot. Only one bottle of Clayvin Pinot Noir can be produced per vine, all the fruit is hand picked and basket pressed, an expensive and labour intense winemaking technique to ensure high quality.

A full bodied, rich, complex style – this is one for the true Pinot lovers. Enjoy and savour it now, but it’ll be good to be kept tucked away in the cellar up until around 2030.
