It’s not the size it’s what you do with it, quality over quantity.
We’re pretty sure that’s the motto at the Gladstone Vineyard. The Wairarapa, just north of Wellington, is just a speck of NZ’s total wine production (1%) and the tiny (but fast growing and upcoming) sub-region of Gladstone is an even smaller piece of that one percent.
Here’s some more numbers – only two Rosés won a Gold medal at the 2015 Air NZ Wine Awards and the delicious, light & fruity, dry style Rosé (a blend of Merlot, Cabernet and Pinot Noir grapes) by Gladstone was one of ’em!
A classy Rosé to lay your hands on for summer but you’ll need to be quick because, well, there ain’t a lot of it!
Damn, you're looking young for your age!
