Dr Bill is Glenmorangie’s Director of all things whisky (he’s officially known as Director of Distilling, Whisky Creation & Whisky Stocks if you must know). Over a morning cup of his favourite Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee his latest creation came to mind – whisky and espresso!
Glenmorangie Signet Single Malt Whisky is crafted using their precious chocolate malt spirit, made just once a year in giraffe-high stills, the aroma it gives off is more like something from an Italian espresso bar!
Using some of the oldest whisky you’ll find at Glenmorangie they blend that chocolate malt spirit with rare casks to enhance the flavour – bourbon for creaminess, sherry for sweetness and some good old virgin charred oak for a bit of spice.
