Greyrock Pinot Noir is a label made by the talented bunch at Sileni Estate and produced mainly for thirsty NZ red wine guzzlers offshore. But a cheeky little parcel of this juicy, easy drinking style Merlot has made its way into our warehouse at a bargain rate.
Sourced from some of Sileni’s Hawke’s Bay vineyards in the Bridge Pa Triangle region, most of which are planted on old alluvial gravels. The back label also features the hand carved work of talented local artist and sculptor Emma Scott.
Soft plum and berry fruit flavours with a silky finish. Made to be enjoyed now but will comfortably last for another three or four years yet. Great with those hearty stews and anything with beef and good old Kiwi lamb.
