Mirumiru. It means bubbles in Maori. Over 20 years ago Hunters MiruMiru was launched in celebration of bubbles and all the joy those little pockets of air bring to our flutes!
In the words of the Hunters’ crew – “Our MiruMiru Non-Vintage has really developed into a brand of it’s own in the 20 years since we started making it.”
Using the classic Champagne grape varieties of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, it’s aged 12-18 months on lees to add richness and texture. Scoring 94/100 and a Top Rank award (making it to the list of top NZ sparkling wines) Master of Wine Bob Campbell calls this one “An attractive fizz with subtlety and style.”
