Shiraz Cabernet aged in Scotch whiskey barrels?! What started off as a crazy wine experiment back in 2012 has now become a regular in the Jacob’s Creek line up – Jacob’s Creek Double Barrel. And as the name suggests, there’s more than one barrel that helps to add more richness, texture and complex flavours.
What started with selected parcels of Shiraz and Cabernet fruit from Limestone Coast vineyards was first aged in traditional American oak barrels before being finished in aged Scotch whisky barrels!
