An absolutely banging hot deal on this 91/100 rated Hawke’s Bay Syrah! A reshuffle in the Left Field line-up means this Syrah is being culled from the range and it’s going out the door at a silly low $14.99. Originally price at $23 (and still being sold on the market at that price right now!) the savings are obvious.
James Suckling is one of the USA’s top wine critics (and writer for Wine Spectator) and he gave this 2017 release a pretty damn tidy 91/100 rating. He said “There’s a very vibrant and attractive feel to this rich, plum and blackberry shiraz that offers a wealth of succulent, fleshy and nicely detailed fruit that delivers a lithe, juicy and nicely resolved finish.”
Produced by the Te Awa winery who are part of the Villa Maria group of wine brands – which means they’re lucky enough to have access to good vineyards and great fruit.
