    Sold out sorry!

They call him the "Flying Winemaker" and, along with brother Jacques, Francois Lurton jets around the globe making wine in France, Argentina, Spain and Chile.

He clocks up plenty of airpoints along the way but home is where the heart is and there’s plenty of love that goes into Lurton’s amazingly vibrant, modern style red from the south of France.

Lurton blends 80% spicy, peppery Syrah with 20% juicy Grenache. Knock the cap off, pour a glass and wait for the spicy, berry fruit flavours to leap out smack you in the face! A soft, silky, dangerously drinkable red offering a truck load of value.

Lurton reckons the perfect food pairing to this one is chicken brochette with herbs or beef tajine with vegetables. Bon appetit!

    The Lowdown: 13% alc / 750ml / Screwcap
