Prosecco has taken the world by storm in recent years. Now seen by many regular drinkers of fizz as a great, affordable alternative to French Champagne. Fresh, fruity flavours, super refreshing and great value for money. We could drink wines like Masottina Prosecco Brut DOC all day – and for a snip under twenty bucks, well it’s just a drop dead bargain.

After all this is the wine that scored a stunning 96/100 and Gold medal at one of the world’s toughest wine shows, the Decanter World Wine Awards 2017. It was the highest scoring Italian Prosecco in that show with the judges summing it up nicely in their comments – “A very classy Prosecco”.

But the success doesn’t stop there for Masottina Prosecco. It threw its hat in the ring at the “Effervescents Du Monde” wine show in 2018. That’s a wine competition exclusively for sparkling wines, with over 600 entries from 20 different countries and a panel of over 100 international judges. And how did it go? Number Uno baby! Trophy and Gold for No.1 Sparkling Wine!
