Made by one of NZ’s top producers (we’re under strict orders to keep their name hush hush!) exclusively for the US market. A cancelled export order means it’s now up for grabs in NZ at a seriously good $14.99. What you’re getting for a sub-$15 sparkling is sensational!
This is a premium quality, Pinot Noir dominant Sparkling Rosé from Hawke’s Bay made by an NZ producer with a glowing international reputation. And how good is the fizz? Put it this way, you simply don’t score 92/100 with one of the USA’s most influential wine publications (Wine Spectator) without pouring something pretty decent in the flute.
The judges at Wine Spectator had this to say. “Gentle floral notes of rose petals, strawberries and cream, and loads of freshly crushed red berries. The red fruits carry through the palate, where cranberry, peach, strawberry, and raspberry take center stage. There is a hint of toasty complexity and some creamy richness from time on lees that lead into a dry finish with lingering hints of spice. Predominantly Pinot Noir with a smaller portion of Chardonnay.”
Luscious, juicy red fruits, a creamy texture and a refreshing dry finish. All packaged in a quality label that really does look like you’ve splashed out two to three times the price! A class act and seriously good value for $14.99 a bottle!
Note: As this is an export only product no RRP has been listed. However, the average bottle price in the US is NZD$33 per bottle (Wine-Searcher.com, June 2024)
