McGuigan Zero Chardonnay

Making alcohol free, full flavoured wines ain’t nothing new to these guys. McGuigan have been in the ‘biz of crafting low alcohol and alcohol free wines for over 15 years.

This is their McGuigan Zero Chardonnay and the ideal option to be drinking for or the health conscious, pregnant, sober drivers, professionals on call or just those that just want to enjoy wine without the unwanted extra calories or potential hangover!

So, let’s get straight to the two questions we’ve been asked a zillion times…

How do they remove the alcohol?
It’s a bit of whizz bang technology, but here’s the low down from the McGuigan crew themselves…
“Post fermentation, we use the latest spinning cone technology, working at low temperatures to gently remove the alcohol, ensuring the wines maintain their delicate fruit flavours. Our wines are all grape-derived, with no artificial sweeteners or additives used in the process ensuring our alcohol-free wine is of the highest quality possible.”

Ok, so what does it actually taste like?
A really easy drinking, fruit driven style of Chardonnay – think lush stone fruit flavours, white peach and vanilla!

The wine contains no more than 0.05% alcohol and 3.9g of sugar per 100ml.
