STUNNING WINERY SUPER DEAL! Was $26 on special, now deep cut to $19.99! Limited stocks.
“We make exceptional wines.” is the pretty straight forward statement by the Greystone crew. To be fair, it’s hard to argue against it.
Made by Greystone in the Waipara, North Canterbury region, one sip and you’ll see this is a Pinot of obvious quality and complexity.
This has had the bells and whistles treatment. We’re talking fermented in small batch lots with wild yeasts, hand plunged daily for a month, aged 9 months in French oak. It’s classy stuff and got the thumbs up from critics here and overseas…
5 Stars & 94/100 (Sam Kim)
“A silky-smooth palate offering bright fruit flavours with savoury nuances.”
4 Stars (Michael Cooper)
“French oak-matured for nine months. Ruby-hued, it is a fresh, mouthfilling, supple red, with moderately concentrated, ripe cherry and spice flavours, and nutty, savoury notes adding complexity. Still youthful, it should be at its best mid-2024+.”
91/100 (James Suckling)
“Smoky, earthy nose of dried cherries, wet earth, bark, dried leaves, mushrooms and smoked meat. Medium-bodied with tight tannins. Savoury, firm finish.”
Of course we’ve tried this one….several times, y’know just to be sure! We absolutely love it. With a few years bottle age under its belt already it’s drinking superbly right now but could easily cellar up until 2026. Grab a case now, you’ll be seriously glad you did.
Damn, you're looking young for your age!
