Sorry, sold out until new vintage

First produced in 2003 the Bin 8 is a Shiraz Cabernet blend, sometimes a Cabernet Shiraz blend depending on how things have gone at Penfolds HQ.

Bin 8 is the younger sibling of Bin 389 (which by our reckoning would make it something like a grandchild to Grange!), blended from a variety of Penfolds’ South Australian vineyards in hot spots like the Barossa Valley, Wrattonbully, and Padthaway.

It’s a great introduction to the magic this legendary producer can do with the classic Aussie Shiraz and Cabernet varieties. It’s got heaps of delicious, juicy, ripe sweet fruit flavours – but enough backbone to keep in the cellar up until around 2028.

    The Lowdown: 14.5% alc / 750ml / Screwcap
