He was Director of Photography on blockbuster movies such as Bugsy Malone, Midnight Express, City Hall and even some of the Harry Potter movies. These days Michael Seresin spends his time making blockbusters in the vineyard – like this 91/100 & Top Value rated Marlborough Chardonnay.

Thinking organics and wine and Seresin springs to mind. They have an almost obsessive approach to organically, hand crafted wine.

The vineyards are farmed biodynamically. That means soils are fed with animal manure, weeds and pests are consumed by cows, horses and chickens, and spraying vine leaves with teas made from local herbs and minerals.

That kind of attention to detail doesn’t get missed – this 2015 vintage scored 91/100 and rated as a “Top Value” wine by The Real Review’s Bob Campbell. Bob said “Soft, mellow, fresh and charming chardonnay with peaches and cream appeal. A seductive wine in a very drinkable style.”

No need for any further cellaring, this has already been tucked away for several years and is a great drink now option!
