You’re looking at a RESERVE label Marlborough SauvyB from the super 2019 Marlborough vintage, made exclusively for thirsty Marlborough Sauvy drinkers in the United States, produced by a well known, award winning NZ winery.

In exchange for a rock bottom rate (and for taking every last box they had!) we’ve promised to keep our lips sealed on the producer’s true identity. If sold here in the domestic market the winery would price the RRP at…wait for it…$25 per bottle! You’re pocketing some decent savings right here!

Their US buyers didn’t take their full allocation recently, leaving the winery here in NZ a wee bit over stocked and little choice but to flog the living daylights out of it to move it along.

They put this smart ’19 release in front of local critic and judge Sam Kim, who scored it 5 Stars and 93/100. Sam said “It’s beautifully fruited and inviting on the nose showing peach, feijoa, kiwifruit and lemon zest characters. The palate displays vibrant fruit intensity together with fine texture and lively acidity, finishing long and refreshing. At its best: now to 2021.”
