“Wines that move you” it says on the box of Shaky Bridge Pioneer Series Pinot Noir. When you’re lucky enough to score Central Otago Pinot of this quality for this kind of coin you’ll wanna do plenty of movin’ and groovin’, shakin’ and slurpin’.
From some of the oldest Pinot Noir vineyards in the Central Otago region (up to 30 years old) this is all lush, dark, juicy fruit goodness with silky tannins. In the sub-$25 Pinot price point this is hard to beat. It’s won a major Gold medal for the previous SEVEN vintages in a row and this latest 2022 is yet another beauty from this extremely reliable label – with a Double Gold medal at the NZ International Wine Show to prove it!
This wine is drinking so, so well right now but it’s got amazing potential – we’re sure there’s more to come! Shimmy on down to the dinner table with a bottle of this alongside your Sunday best (roast that is – preferably lamb).
