What’s got three sides with two lots of five stars? The Triangle!

Produced from one variety (Merlot) by the guys at Sileni Estate from some of their vineyards in the Bridge Pa Triangle district (thus the name) in Hawke’s Bay.

These guys recently jazzed up their labels a bit and this is their “Grand Reserve” selection of wines, they use some of their best fruit under this label and give their Triangle Merlot a solid 18 months in oak. They’ll tell you it’s got dark plum, licorice and dark berryfruit flavours with a silky dark finish. We just reckon this is a classy example of top notch Hawke’s Bay single varietal Merlot.

It’s drinking superbly right now but will comfortably cellar for several years yet. Bust it out with your favourite NZ beef and lamb dishes for the best food match.
