A great buy on this single vineyard, off-dry Central Otago Pinot Gris. Selling for $18 direct at the winery, this is a one-off hot deal we were able to hook in to.

South River are the winery and their vineyard is located in Tarras, on the banks of the Clutha River, next door to the famous Canyon vineyard. It’s crafted by one the region’s top winemakers, Anthony Wurch. He’s a Frenchman now settled in Otago and the man behind the award winning wines from Tarras The Canyon, Kuru Kuru and previously spent a bit of time with the crew at Peregrine. Not so long ago these guys provided fruit to the likes of Chard Farm, the winery that produce the massively popular Rabbit Ranch label.

This is a super delicious off-dry style Central Otago Pinot Gris – light citrus fruit flavours with a dry finish. It’s super refreshing and at this price a no brainer!
