Terrazas de los Andes (named after the steep terraces at the foot of the Andes mountains) is one of Argentina’s top producers.
You’ve got to be pretty flash to get nestled under the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy umbrella of wine producers. Since 1999 they’ve been part of this exclusive, fancy pants list of wineries that includes world class producers like Cape Mentelle, Chandon and our very own Cloudy Bay.
Best known for their reds like Malbec and Cabernet but actually Chardonnays from this part of the world are well worth giving a go. Nicolas the winemaker says “The latest Terrazas Reserva Chardonnay continues to surprise me every day…During blind wine tastings, I remember many people were surprised by its French-driven style!”
