Anthony Joseph Vidal was just 22 years young when he jumped off the ship from Spain way back in 1888. After purchasing a small section in Hawke’s Bay in 1905 he converted the stables that occupied the land into a wine cellar and hey presto – Vidal Estate was born!
This is part of their “Reserve” range – a step up in class from their entry level white label (“Estate”) range. This is the classic Marlborough Sauvy style – crisp and full of vibrant tropical fruit flavours. From a winery with a long history of amazing food and wine (they opened NZ’s first winery restaurant back in 1979). We recommend pairing it with fresh fish and seafood dishes.
