Anthony Joseph Vidal was just 22 years young when he jumped off the ship from Spain way back in 1888. After purchasing a small section in Hawke’s Bay in 1905 he converted the stables that occupied the land into a wine cellar and hey presto – Vidal Estate was born!

You’ll find the Vidal Reserve range being regularly slurped by travelling visitors to Air NZ’s premium Koru lounges. This is a classy label that looks and tastes the part, clearly to pass the test to be served to those in swanky surroundings!

From a great 2019 Hawke’s Bay vintage and using prized Gimblett Gravels fruit this latest release is another beauty. It’s not hard to see why it won a Gold medal at the Royal Easter Wine Awards in 2020.
