Villa Maria are no strangers to the winners podium – in fact they spend just as much time up on those stages at wine award shows as they do making the wine! They’re NZ’s most awarded winery but to see their entry level “Private Bin” labels like this one winning Gold at major NZ wine shows is bloody good going.
Villa have got vineyards dotted all over the show and in crafting this Gewurztraminer they’ve sourced grapes from Gisborne and Marlborough. From an excellent 2024 vintage, in their own words “Across the country, the 2024 harvest was regarding as one of high quality.”
