Produced by Fast Flying Wines, a family owned Central Otago producer, and it’s the cases that’ve been flying over the past couple of years since the launch of this label.

This latest 2023 is probably the best release to date and that’s backed by a Gold medal & Top 50 rating at the New World Wine Awards 2024. The judges there said “The Warou or Welcome Swallow are birds that enjoy flying with their flock and this Pinot Noir is made to enjoy with good mates. Named after the Welcome Swallow bird often seen darting around the lakes and rivers in the southern part of Aotearoa where this. This is pure fruit driven Central Pinot goodness – dark red fruit flavours and a touch of spice.
