The winemaker is Sam Brewer and he’s from a grape growing family of over 30 years. When Sam graduated from Uni with a degree in wine science they crushed a tonne of Shiraz grapes and fermented it in a milk vat! Having made wine for some of the big guns in Aussie, like De Bortoli, Sam decided to take the plunge in 2009 and focus on the family business.
Using fruit from two different regions – Bendigo in Victoria and Hilltops in New South Wales. In the words of Sam the man this well priced Shiraz is a “This wine displays cherry, blackcurrent flavours and soft velvety tannins – lightly supported by silky French oak background”
