As Rod tells the story “Having bought almost every Yarra Valley lemon in existence, I flew to Mildura to sign a contract on an entire citrus orchard. I don’t think the grower quite believed me when I told him over the phone I’d take the lot. Every lemon he had. The whole family then spent every weekend peeling lemons so we could make more limoncello to keep up with demand.”
