Cloudy Bay Pelorus is the bubbles produced by the world famous Cloudy Bay. They’re the guys that put Aotearoa on the world wine map back in the day!
They’ve named their world famous sparking after a world famous dolphin, Pelorus Jack. This little flipper followed ships between Wellington and Nelson around the early 1900’s and was the world’s first Dolphin to be protected by law.
Made in a Methode Traditionelle style, the same method as Champagne with a second fermentation in the bottle to produce the bubbles. Produced using premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes from their Marlborough vineyards.
