There sure is plenty of Gold in these hills – Kirrihill’s that is. To be more precise the foothills at the north eastern end of the Clare Valley in South Australia.
They’ve been winning Gold under this label, produced from grapes sourced entirely from specially selected vineyards, since the late 90s. The Partner Series is named after the partners of the company – so it’s got to be flash stuff to have their names on it!
Outstanding quality fruit, top vineyards, aged a whopping 20 months in oak and a super talented winemaker in Andrew Locke – an ex-Rosemount estate winemaker. This is a real belter of a Cabernet that’s done well on the wine review circuit on both sides of the ditch…
